At first glance, you would think that the Forums were a good place to share real thought provoking ideas. But the truth that it is nothing more than a Man-Bashing Rant Party comes out pretty quickly.
The forum is teeming with angry women who, usually due to self-inflicted esteem issues, will rant about the usual tripe. This list of juvenile complaints include (but are not restricted to):
- Men are pigs and are only after sex.
- Those who proposition them are short, ugly, overweight and unkempt.
- Women are hard done by.
- Excessive weight shouldn’t matter. Every one that has excessive amounts of fat is a “Big Beautiful Women”.
- Men don’t communicate.
If we were to judge women-kind by what you read on the forums, you would think that emotional and psychological development was not only generally seriously damaged in childhood, but arrested at 13-years of age. All the more reason to steer clear of Plenty of Fish and go out into the real world. Angry man-haters won’t dare to tread away from the comforts being seated in their large industrial-strength office chair in front of their laptops while tapping out how much mankind owes them, and stuffing themselves full of more calories (raging is hard work, after all.)
Don’t look to the “moderators” to control this either. Any comment (no matter how professionally scripted, and logically supported) is seen as a challenge and will be summarily deleted. This is true. I have recently seen many well-written posts disappear overnight (or more quickly) because one of the “moderators” obvious didn’t agree. All the while, personal attacks and what amounts to propaganda that supports the view of the Femme-Nazi’s are allowed to remain.
Sure, if it really gets out of hand it may be deleted, but the posters are allowed to re-post with impunity. Try that with an opposing view. Your post will be deleted. Furthermore, I have seen many of these opposing posters get temporary or permanent bans.
Plenty Of Fish Forums Missing
The biggest kicker is one of the excuses they use to delete entire threads: “Done to death“. Sorry, “mod-IRATE-ors”, these topics only reappear because they are REAL complaints. Stamping out a fire that restarts is an indication that you have NOT addressed the source of the fire. If that isn’t proof of DENIAL, nothing is. (or will they DENY that too.)
Of course, they will retreat to the notion that they are only providing a forum, and as such, have no responsibility to social justice or fair representation of the truth. Well, fine. You will be fed the same dose of medicine:

The biggest offenders are the pair of Moder-haters, ABELIAN and Miss_Allison. These egotists bear personal grudges and delete perfectly good posts because they don’t like the poster. They’ll let all sorts of man-bashing flame baiting go while banning those that point it out. They make it a goal to hunt down posts from people that they can’t debate. Not only that, they will post up their own lame opinions to which no one is allowed to argue with. Yeah, really a testament to free speech.
